About Us

David and Brian used to work together at a web 2.0 start-up company [whose name shall remain undisclosed]. They were just kids at the time, it seems like - one was 24 and the other was just 21 years old. Brian was the only programmer working in-house, and David was the all-things-marketing and SEO man. They worked really well together, and life was good.

The company had pretty small clients at the time, but they were brewing up some behind-the-scenes projects that looked like they had some real potential, and as soon as their main project gained just a little bit of notoriety, they devoted all of our time (and it was a BUNCH, let me tell you) to making this project launch. In the meantime, however, the two of them could see things going terribly wrong, they were on a sinking ship, but their attempts to warn the captain and crew went ignored.

I won’t spoil it for you, because there’s a lot to discuss, but they were able to experience some incredible amazing (and ridiculously frustrating) events. Head on over to How Not To for a first-hand look at how NOT to run a web start-up.
